My experience in Indiana
My experience at Indiana is quiet different to that of Dr Julia because I put up with the Host community and they are hospitable and surprisingly ,my roommates asked us to count on them in case of a ride or an emergency.I wonder what would have happened if they had stayed in isolation and ignored us? how would I have shared the leaving room and kitchen with them? my experience could be similar to that of Dr Julia in that, in the class, I am getting used to different styles of instruction from different instructors. I wonder how I would have managed if I hadn't read Dr Julia's book?
Hi Peace! I thnk you will have a very different experience than many of your fellow scholars from South Sudan. The experience of living with two American Undergrads will give you lots of stories to tell! What do you think this might tell us about relationships in America? Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

ReplyDeleteHi peace, it was a good decision that you made to share the apartment with American students, it will add more impact to your experience in a daily life. its really good!, heee! that's way your accent is changing. keep learning more from them and let them learn good things from you as well!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good! I can see you lady is really enjoying yourself to the maximum. I just wonder what may happened to you one day in case things fall apart or your roommate change their minds. Since no condition is permanent. what is your comment on relationships from both countries?
