Encouraging Girls Education in South Sudan.
Girls Education is still a crucial problem in south sudan and calls for a joined
contribution of stake holders, Teachers, parents and Mentors. My plan is to work
closely with the few female teachers who should encourage girls by talking to them,
Act as Mentors and Mothers to them, being exemplary or role models to the girls so that
they will see a future which is visible through the teachers. There is also need to creat
awareness among the parents  who are ignorant about the importance of girls education
thus, both teachers and parents work together  to ensure the enrolement and
retention of the girls in schools. I will also advocate in preservice and inservice teacher
training programs to consider the aspect of Feminism so that the female teachers come out empowered and ready to inspire others.
together we can acheive the goals of the MDGs which were sett to be achieved by the year 2015. Better late than Never !!

The knowledge and skills I have acquired in the Masters program is what will help me to achieve my cherished dream.Upon my return to South Sudan, I would wish to continue working with Teachers whether in pre-service or In-service so that together we shall examine the legal issues confronting the classroom teachers on a daily basis. coupled to that, I will also Advocate for Restorative Justice practices to be incorparated into the Justice system of South Sudan. the importance is that, it  can be used outside the criminal Justice system as for community issues, school problems, transgressions in college and University life and work place environments.this will help in healing, reconciliation and creating a democratic society.
with the help of the Ministry of Education,  we shall encourage the use of restorative Conferencing in schools and asses how the process of a conversation can be productive of more and less peaceable relationship, Trust me,through this we shall achieve the goal of  coexistence.

Displacement due to conflict leads to over crowding which has it's own impact.
Health and Santitation should be a priority in any Emergency becouse when people
do not have access to adequate Sanitation and water, prevetable diseases such as
diarrhea, dysentery, cholera,Typhoid and gaidia among others will continue to be
a major threat bringing sudden death to many people, Close of Schools hence
affecting Teaching and learning. For teachers and Children to be healthy
with healthy mind, the learning environment should be free of  water and air Pollution
As Teachers, have your say .
